My Bio

Hi, my name is Mel Smith and I have been working with computers for over 35 years, starting my career in 1973. Yes, I have been around that long. I have worked in computer operations, done software development, system administration, network design and administration, software and hardware test, software support, and managed IT operations and telecommunications.

After more than 30 years in IT, in early 2006, I started teaching myself web design. I started by working on websites for the Bahá'í community and I have since produced business websites.
